The Villa

Halfway between Florence and Siena, next to San Gimignano there is Villa San Filippo.
This ancient mansion - dating back to the XVI century and recently renewed - combines artistic and architectural features of typically Tuscan mansions, offering a unique and magic atmosphere in the hilly landscape of Chianti.

Set among vineyards and olive groves, Villa San Filippo was built by enlargement of a stately home of an aristocratic Florentine family of the sixteenth century. It was enlarged in subsequent centuries by Baroncelli Family and then by Costagli Family, which they equipped with a factory body symmetrical, giving it a characteristic twin shape in the surrounding landscape.

Still today, with its more than 400 years of history, Villa San Filippo offers to its guests moments of relaxation and tranquility and it’s the ideal location to organize any kind of event.
